Script

Gray lines describe what happens on screen. The bold lines are what Drip says.

  1. Drip at a radio tower with headphones on. Beep boop signals flash.

Your body is always sending messages. Today we learn to read them!

  2. A kid at soccer, mouth feeling like sandpaper.

Signal one: a dry, sticky mouth.

  3. A kid yawning at a desk, eyelids drooping.

Signal two: feeling tired even though you slept.

  4. A cartoon thundercloud over a kid's head, then a grumpy face.

Signal three: a headache. Signal four: feeling cranky for no reason.

  5. Drip holds a paint swatch card, giggling.

And signal five... okay, this one's a little silly. Check your pee! If it looks like lemonade, you're doing great. If it looks like apple juice, your body is shouting: water, please!

  6. A kid sipping water all day: morning, lunch, recess. The radio tower stays quiet and happy.

Here's the secret: if you sip a little water all day long, your body won't have to send you nearly as many signals.

  7. Recap

Listen to your thirsty signals, and drink before you're super thirsty. Sip, sip, hooray!

  8. End card

Mission 2 unlocked! Time for the Thirsty Signals sheet.
